Its been awhile since I've had a chance to update, but things at the Junction keep improving. The DJ kicked ass, and there was just something in the atmosphere, that added to the mood. Everyone was friendly and a good time was had by all.
“I think one of the great things about the Junction is that it's not a sports bar, not necessarily a club –– just a great place to meet friends and grab a drink, hence the lounge style,” says Tyler Smith, manager. “We do have a strong regular crowd as well, so we're always seeing new faces along with the old.” Overall, though, today's Junction has changed considerably since its inception nearly twenty years ago. Though it's evolved in subtle ways, Tyler says the dedication to theme is so solid; many regulars often fail to notice the behind-the-scenes tweaking the Smiths do to refine the operation.

In St Louis, The Junction Lounge would still be noteworthy: it's hugely popular, for one thing, and quite visually appealing. It attracts an affluent, attractive clientele. All that would be worthy of note in St Louis. But this is Perry ...so listen up. The Junction is surprisingly comfortable for a club of its hipness. The dance floor is basically always live, with different types of music. Call in advance and reserve a table by the dance floor. |
